Match Overview

Another good turnout at this latest interclub match with Isfield. Ben Cooke fishing for Hassocks yet again showed the rest how it is done. He drew peg 24 and rotated between several different methods and baits to pick up the odd fish throughout the match including the biggest fish of the day at 15-1-0 on a top two and meat. He finished with a level 51-0-0. Second also went to a Hassocks man on peg 29, Tim Brightey landed 36-11-0 on the method feeder and pole to just edge out Nigel Greenwood on the next peg who fell just over two pounds short on 34-0-0. Overall Hassocks came out on top by eleven ounces short of 100-0-0 which will I am sure be overturned next week in the return match at Broadhurst Lake.
