Match Overview

The hottest day of the year so far saw several anglers struggling with the heat towards the end of the match with Seaford at More House Farm. For the second match in a row Lew Nightingale drew the favourite and probably the most consistent peg on the lake, peg 43, and he made it count fishing most of the match with wafters on the method feeder before picking up a few carp down the margin on the pole near the end for 95-4-0 and a comfortable win. Second went to Dave Hughes who managed to pick out peg 18 from the draw bag, also another consistent peg, he fished mostly meat on the pole all day for 78-15-0. Steve Mead finished third from peg 33 which has not shown much form of late he also fished the pole and meat which is not his favourite style of fishing as he is known as a feeder man. Seaford comfortably won the day by just under 88-0-0.
