Match Overview

The first leg of the evening series had seven anglers taking part at Badgers Wood and despite bites for most being few and far between the bites that were had came from a good stamp of fish. Nigel Jackson fishing on peg 1 reverted back to his favourite paste and picked up three Tench and some small silvers for his 8-10-0. Runner up was his travelling partner Norman Cragg who drew consistent peg 11 he fished worm and picked up two Tench and Bream plus two small silver fish for 7-15-0. Third on the next peg 13 was Tim Brightey who fished maggots for two Tench and silvers for 6-10-0.
