Match Overview

 Six anglers braved the elements and one of the wettest matches I can remember, to take part in the penultimate winter series match at Sidewinder. At Rob’s request we generally used pegs less often selected to avoid excessive mud on the banks.

Nigel Jackson continued his good series run with a net of carp on paste from peg 17 caught close in. Keith had a steady match of pole-caught carp to come second. David had a small number of carp and skimmers on the pole lines, but a successful last hour on a mini hybrid feeder using mini bandums and fishery 2mm pellets to come third.

The points are very close with Nigel with 64 points, Steve with 63 points and Kevin with 58 points.
