Match Overview

The latest round of the mini-series at Morehouse fished better for most with the weather also being warm and relatively calm. The top weight on the day yet again Sam Beckinsale with 62-10-0 from peg 2 using pole with maggots and feeder also with maggots, he benefited from both peg 43 and 5 being vacant due to non-attendance. Runner up was Tim Brightey from island peg 50 who had the fish in front of him all day with many foul hooked fish being lost, he fished long pole with maggots and picked up a few fish late on down the edge for 53-2-0. He leads the way in the overall points for series dropping only one point over the previous three legs. Third was Keith Huggins on peg 14 with 46-2-0  all on the pole with maggots picking up five decent fish in the last half hour at two metres out. With one round left Tim Brightey is two points clear of second placed Jerry Morgan with three other anglers a further two points behind with Sam Beckinsale a considerable way ahead on weight  in front of Lew Nightingale and Kevin Baptiste who are close with each other on weight, so still a lot can change on the final match.
