Match Overview

A bright, sunny evening with light wind for the first round of this season’s Rose Bowl evening series. Plenty of bream and tench were caught – and even more were lost!

Winner with 120 whip-caught silvers was Colin Ryall with 13lbs 4oz. In second place was David Harper with three bream and a good roach caught on long pole with 10lbs 2oz. Third place was Tim Brightey with 8lbs 9oz with three tench and a bream caught on a margin pole.
