Match Overview

There was a good turnout on the last match of the season at Masons and the weather was reasonably kind with no rain. The fishing was not easy with very small Roach the only silver fish to at least provide a few bites for most. Lew Nightingale managed three Carp all on wafters and method feeder for a winning 21-5-0 from end peg 9, runner up Dave Franks only had one bite but it was from a 10-8-0 Carp on the pole and paste from popular peg 8. Third was Ted Odell who also only had one bite which came with 20 minutes left, a small Carp of 2-14-0 on method feeder and wafter. The new match calendar starts on the 7^th of April at Decoy.
