Match Overview

Nine anglers took part in the second round of the SNRS Summer series. A cold overcast day finally turned in a warm and sunny afternoon. Very few fish were seen topping probably due to the cold overnight temperatures. Several skimmers were caught which were stocked late last autumn , and it was good to see them showing now in matches.

Winner Tony Morris had 3 carp to 9lb, including a last minute fish to total 23lb 1oz. Runner up and close behind was Keith Huggins with 4 carp and crucian for 21lb 7oz. In third place was Kevin Tree with 15lb 5oz. Stewart Morton had a noteworthy Crucian of 1lb 13oz.
