Match Overview

The end pegs claimed the top two places in the interclub match with Henfield on the river at Lock. Coming out on top was Chris Reed fishing peg one for Henfield landing just under 8-0-0 fishing worm on the pole all match, he had a Tench of 4-8-0 and several reasonable Perch. At the other end of the match Andy Wells also representing Henfield picked up two Bream on worm on the pole and a small Tench on sweet corn for 6-11-0 from peg nine which was just enough to hold off Colin Crowther on peg six who completed a clean sweep for Henfield also landing two Bream on the pole, one on worm and the other on caster for 6-6-0. Henfield comfortably won the day with their top two weighing 14-9-0 whilst Hassocks could only muster 4-2-0.
