Match Overview

The return interclub match at Goose Green saw a better-than-expected turnout with 29 taking part which meant that nearly every peg had to be used on the two lakes that were being fished. The top two places were filled by Pulborough anglers on two of the fancied pegs on Heron Lake, Derek White won comfortably from peg 5 with just over 95-0-0 with Pip Prankos on end peg 1 the only other angler to break 50-0-0 with 57-4-0. Third went to Norman Cragg on peg 15 fishing for Hassocks fishing his favourite method feeder for 42-13-0. On the day Pulborough easily overturned the result from the previous interclub match by nearly 187-0-0.
