Match Overview

The latest match at Mason’s was only fished by four hardy souls and with two frosts over the last two nights expectations were not high especially as there was a chilly wind all day. It was Lew Nightingale who drew favoured peg 9 and despite bites being scarce he managed to land three Carp. He had two on the method feeder and wafters early on and the other on the bomb and corn in the last hour for a respectable 18-12-0. The only other bite went to Hugh Neatherway on peg 7 fishing the method feeder and yellow wafter for 5-6-0. He had to wait until the last hour to avoid the blank.
