Match Overview

A decent turnout for the latest O.A.P. match saw the closest match at Decoy for many seasons, with lost fish being costly for several of the anglers. Top on the day went to Kevin Tree who managed seven Carp and two Skimmers for his winning total of 26-3-0 all caught on the method feeder with wafters from peg 32. Runner up from peg 1 was Norman Cragg who also had seven Carp using method feeder and red wafters falling just short with 24-8-0, unfortunately losing a decent fish with fifteen minutes left. Third was Nigel Jackson who landed three Carp with two of them coming late on his favourite pole and paste, backing up the Carp with a nice silver fish net of Roach and Skimmers. It was good to see many Skimmers being caught with a good number now approaching 1-0-0 

The biggest Carp on the day weighed 11 4 0.
