Match Overview
Yet another wet and windy day greeted the latest inter club match which unfortunately had no one from Pulborough attend which meant this became a club match instead. Despite the weather the weights were still respectable with the Carp seemingly preferring to be down the centre of the lake. Colin Ryall made the most of this from peg 11 continuing his good run of form at Decoy landing 65-2-0, he started on the method feeder and wafters and then later switched to the pellet waggler and pellets to catch steadily throughout the day. Second on the next peg was Kevin Tree with 51-3-0 also fishing the method feeder to the pads with wafters and moving to pole later down the edge. Third from the opposite bank on popular peg 26 was Cliff Prophet who has been absent for many months due to illness, it was good to see him back, he also started on the method feeder with wafters and the fished down the edge on the pole and came up less than a pound short of second putting 50-5-0 on the scales.
