Match Overview

Ten anglers took part in the winter series final, which after a series of cold and wet days turned out to be a bright and sunny day, but with low water temperature.

Match winner Keith Huggins fishing from the corner peg 15 picked up 6lb of silvers and 26lb of carp (including six carp and four small carp) fishing the left margin and to the point of the island for a match winning 32lb 9oz. Just 10oz behind was Nigel Jackson (Mr Paste) with eight carp for second place and Steve Pead picking up third place with 25lb 9oz from peg 17.

The Winter Series winner (based on best nine results out of the 12 match series) was Nigel Jackson with 73 points, very close behind was Steve Pead with 71 points and in third place was Kevin Tree with 62 points.
