Match Overview

Mild autumn weather with overcast skies and gentle breezes, but with periods of brief sunshine and dropping wind speed, the conditions did impact on fish numbers from mid match onwards. Eight anglers took part in the 2nd leg of this years winter series.

Winner with a net of whip and pole caught silvers including bream and tench was Nigel Jackson with 9lb 13 oz. Runner up with a very similar catch was Norman Cragg with 7lb 9oz. In third place was Stewart Morton with a catch of 6lb 8oz, including a late feeder caught fish in the closing minutes.

Generally a harder match than the recent record breaking match in mid September.
