Match Overview

Eleven anglers took part in the second match to be held on Canal Lake at More House. Following some overnight rain, the day was generally sunny, an odd shower with a strong westerly breeze . Many anglers opted for short pole or feeder due to the wind.

With a very tight match for the top three anglers, the winner on the day was Kevin Tree, with a very strong last two hours on the feeder to take 48lb 12oz. Literally a few ounces behind was Mr Paste (Nigel Jackson) with 48lb 8oz with a combination of paste and feeder caught fish from the favoured end peg. In third place was Lew Nightingale with 47lb 9oz.
