Match Overview
It was a very early draw for the first leg of the Willey Challenge Cup due to the high tide time but eight turned up to a blustery morning. It was very close between the top three with Roger Bulman just edging it with 6-9-0 on his favourite stick float and maggot for some quality Roach and a nice Perch. Runner up by just 2 ounces was Steve Pead on the end peg with a similar net of fish using pole and waggler also on maggots. Just another 5 ounces behind was Dave Franks with some decent Roach and Chublets also caught on maggots.
