Match Overview
Seven anglers took part in the fourth leg of the Rose Bowl on a warm evening and despite the lack of rain lately the fishing was better than expected. Coming out on top was Les Hammond who had four good skimmers and a mixed net of silvers for a respectable 10-1-0 on short pole with worm and maggot. Second was Steve Pead on the next peg fishing whip with maggots and long pole with worm picking up two decent skimmers and some good Roach for 7-2-0. Completing the top three was Ted Odell who is having his best season for many years landing two good skimmers and a smaller skimmer for his 5-13-0 all on the feeder.
The fifth leg is next week at Vale Bridge.
