Match Overview

A very warm evening greeted the five anglers for the third leg of the Rose Bowl, it turned out to be a very close match with only two ounces separating the top three where bites were hard to come by. Colin Ryall just edged the match catching nearly all his fish in the last forty-five minutes all small Roach on pole and maggots for his 2-11-0. Joint second was Rowland Smith who also had small Roach for his 2-9-0 which he caught in the first hour on waggler and maggot, joining him in second was Darren Chillcot with 2-9-0 who managed an Eel of about 1-0-0 which he had on the whip and half a dozen Roach. The next evening match is next week at Wildings.
