Match Overview

The temperature was slightly cooler than of late with bright sunshine and the customary swirling Wildings wind. Steve Pead started on the whip with maggot catching plenty of small silver fish, before changing to long pole and worm catching slightly larger silver fish and a bonus 2-8-0 Bream for his 6 3 0. Sally however started on the method feeder trying different baits for one small Roach, after the first hour and a half she switched to the whip and maggot and caught steadily till the end of the match for 2-14-0 and a combined total of 9-1-0. Runners up, Tina and John Larouche, fished pole and waggler with maggot for small silver fish with Tina yet again showing her husband how it is done with her 2-10-0 to John’s 1-8-0 for their 4-2-0.
