Match Overview

Another early start on the river with a 6.00 am draw for the Rod and Line Cup. Darren Chilcott had a dream start landing a 3-0-0 plus Chub after just ten minutes on legered bread and then changed to waggler fished shallow with maggots for plenty of smaller Chub over the next three hours for his winning total of 8-5-0 and claiming the Rod and Line Cup. Norman Cragg fell just under a pound short on 7-6-0 for second fishing waggler and maggot all day catching Chub and picking up three Eels with the biggest going 1-8-0. Third was Tina Larouche who drew her favourite end peg who managed some nice Roach in her 5-13-0 also on the waggler and maggots.
