The latest interclub match on a weedy river Adur at Sakeham saw Hassocks fill four of the top five places, coming out on top was Darren Chilcott fishing for Hassocks with a level 4-0-0 of small silvers on the pole with maggots. Keith Huggins also fishing for Hassocks was runner up by two ounces on the pole rueing the loss of a decent fish which charged off up the river. Third was Henfield angler Gary Shepard with 3-3-0 of small silvers also on the pole and maggots. Hassocks ran out easy victors on the day with the top seven weights from both clubs counting with 15-11-0 to Hassocks and Henfield registering 6-4-0.
