The final leg of the three interclub matches saw 17 anglers taking part on a cloudy day. Top on the day was Rowland Smith fishing for Haywards Heath who managed a Carp of 8-12-0 in his 10-3-0. He was fishing for silvers on the pole when the Carp took his double white maggot. Second was Pete Gabitas from Southdown who was on the first peg in on the car park bank, he fished whip and the pole with maggot for several nice Roach up to a pound in his mixed silver fish net of 9-9-0. Third was Rod Brown fishing for Hassocks on the next peg, also fishing the pole with maggots for a similar net of silvers.
