Canal did not fish as well as expected at More House Farm in the latest inter club match with Seaford with the change in weather likely to be the reason. Making a late surge in the last hour Trevor Hoad representing Seaford stormed to victory landing six Carp down the margins with maggots and worm on peg 18 for 31-11-0. Runner fishing for Hassocks was Hugh Neatherway from peg 2, he had five Carp, one on pellet waggler one on the feeder and three on the pole with hard pellet for 28-14-0. In a close finish Gary Mason just came up short by five ounces to claim third place with 28-9-0 from peg 7, on the day Seaford comfortably came out on top by  47-0-0.
