Match Overview
Nigel Jackson won the final leg of the Rose Bowl which gave him his fourth win in the series giving him 40 points, but it was not enough for him to claim the trophy as he missed two of the other matches. He yet again proved the power of paste landing two Carp for 10-8-0 some skimmers for his 18-5-0 and a comfortable victory from end peg 10. Colin Ryall fishing peg 14 yet again fished the whip and caught 129 small silvers for just under 6-0-0 for second place hoping to clinch the trophy with a total of 43 points from his top five results from the six matches. Tim Brightey made sure that did not happen by finishing third on the evening with 2-13-0 from peg 18 and securing 44 points from his best results edging out Colin by a single point.
