Match Overview

The latest round of the Rose Bowl evening series was for once not dominated by either end peg. Colin Ryall fishing peg 10 landed just under one hundred and fifty small silver fish on the whip for 10-8-0 before turning to the method feeder for the final ten minutes which produced a bite with five minutes left for a Carp of 5-8-0 and a 16-0-0 winning net. Runner up Tim Brightey on peg 18 landed two small skimmers on the method feeder and yellow wafters with some small silver fish on the pole and maggots before landing a Carp of 8-15-0 in the last ten minutes also on the yellow wafter for 14-4-0. Rowland Smith completed the top three from peg 14 landing several decent skimmers and some silvers rotating between the method and cage feeder with various baits for 10-8-0.
