Match Overview

The hill and the heat kept the numbers down for latest match at Masons with only four turning out. Colin Ryall drew peg one and started on the whip catching well for the first few hours before starting to struggle for bites, he turned to the pellet waggler as there were Carp cruising on the surface but only managed one Carp as they were not really interested. He returned to the whip and picked up a small Carp of about 1-8-0 almost at his feet, at the weigh in he had 13-13-0 of silver fish and his two carp went 7-11-0 for a total of 21-8-0. Steve Pead finished runner up from peg 3 with 19-9-0 which consisted of two late Carp for 13-12-0 on the method feeder and wafters, the largest weighing   8-10-0 and 5-13-0 of silvers fish on the whip. Third on end peg 9 was Lew Nightingale with two Carp on the method feeder with wafter and corn for 8-11-0 he also lost a third Carp which took him through the rushes.
