Match Overview

With only two rounds left in this season’s O.A.P. winter series there is still no clear leader now. Eight anglers took part on a windy, chilly day but at least the rain held off until everyone had packed up and had been weighed in. The Carp followed the wind with the top two only separated by just over a pound, coming out on top was Tony Morris from peg four landing one Carp on the feeder and five more on the pole with maggots for 28-8-0.Second from end peg two was Nigel Jackson who managed seven Carp with two coming to the method feeder and five more on the pole from the reeds to his left also using maggots for 27-5-0. Rob Harman came third from opposite end peg eighteen fishing the pole all day with pinkies, he picked up five Carp for 21-14-0, it would have been a different result if Rob had not lost seven Carp at the landing net to hook pulls.
