Match Overview

The latest O.A.P. match at Stanbridge view was fished with the best weather for many weeks but unfortunately due to the recent rain that we have had the banks were sodden and very muddy. Most of the fish were caught from one bank with Keith Huggins working out the best method early on and he landed 36-9-0 from peg four all on the pole with maggots. Second went to Hugh Neatherway from peg four landing his first Carp on the method feeder before fishing the pole with maggots and pinkies down to the next platform for his 24-15-0. Third was Nigel Jackson on peg seven with 21-2-0 all on the pole, he had to abandon his usual paste approach as it was a nonstarter and reverted to bunches of maggots to avoid be pestered by small silver fish.
