Match Overview

There was a reasonable turnout for this match which was moved to Decoy due to Wildings bursting its bank, unfortunately it did not fish as well as the previous match with very few bites to be had. Lew Nightingale managed two Carp on bomb and bread and a bonus skimmer on the method feeder and dead red maggots late on to win from peg 28 with 14-1-0. Steve Pead was second from next peg 30 landing three Carp all caught on bomb and bread for 11-4-0. It was good to see Kevin Tree fishing his first match for several months after a bout of ill health finishing third fishing peg 9, he caught two skimmers and a late Carp on the method feeder and wafters for 5-7-0.
