Match Overview

Keith Huggins won this year’s O A P Christmas match from peg 8 landing ten Carp, six on the method feeder with wafters and four on the pole long with sweet corn and hard pellets for a respectable 41-3-0 on a chilly day. Second from end peg 16 was Steve Pead who started with two Carp inside the first ten minutes, unfortunately he only managed another three during the day but they were of a better stamp, and he weighed 29-14-0 with four coming to the method feeder and wafters and one on the bomb and worm. Third was Nigel Jackson on peg 4, he also had five Carp all caught on the method feeder and a combination of orange and yellow wafters for 21-6-0.
