Match Overview

Keith Huggins added the adult Christmas cup to the OA P Christmas cup which he won several days ago fishing peg 14 on Canal weighing in 38-15-0, he had one Carp on the feeder before switching to the long pole alternating between sweetcorn and soft pellets to land another seven Carp and a decent skimmer. Runner up from peg 6 was Dave Larby, he started on the feeder and had two quick Carp but then struggled for a bite and with two hours to go he quickly set up the pole and fished maggots to pick up three more Carp and a few silver fish for his 24-10-0. Third was Ian Thompson from peg 16 he had five Carp all on the long pole with double maggots for 19-13-0, he was unable to get a bite on the feeder despite trying it several times during the match.
