Match Overview

The second leg of the O.A.P. winter series saw some good weights at Decoy considering the heavy rain over the last two days. Lew Nightingale came out on top with 67-8-0 from peg 7, catching early on the method feeder and wafters before switching to the margins to pick up several larger Carp on the pole and corn the biggest weighing 17-13-0. Second on peg 11 was Les Hickman with two Carp on the method feeder before also switching to the margins to pick up another five Carp which included two double figure fish for his 46-4-0. Nigel Jackson managed third from peg 26 with 38-0-0 but he had to wait until the last hour and half for his first Carp but once they moved in on the long paste line he picked up six for 32-0-0, he also had several decent skimmers up to 1-9-0.
