Match Overview

The third leg of the mini-series saw More House frozen, so ice breakers were necessary for nearly everyone which meant the fishing was going to be hard yet again, which it was. Despite the frost Keith Huggins managed the top weight so far this series, drawing favoured peg 50 he managed two Carp and some small skimmers on the long pole and maggot for just under 12-0-0. Second was Dave Larby who drew peg 8 which up to today had not provided a single bite in the series so far, but Dave put that right landing three Carp and some small silvers to give him 8-10-0 all on the pole and pinkies. Third with 6-10-0 was Tim Brightey from another fancied peg 19 with two Carp and small silvers also on the pole and maggots. He now leads the series with 20 points with two rounds to go.
