Match Overview

Only two juniors turned out for this year’s Christmas match on a warm sunny day which saw Leah Jones successfully defend her title fishing pole at eight metres with meat and down the margin for the last hour also on meat for 21-8-0. She had the biggest fish of the day, a Carp of 5-8-0 also she landed her first Barbel of around a 1-0-0. Runner up for the second-year running was Joshua Morris who managed 16-6-0 of Carp fishing the pole and corn at 10 metres to the island and also on the method feeder and wafters.
