Match Overview
A wet windy day saw nine taking part in the latest round of the O.A.P. summer series competing on Sidewinder lake at More House Farm. Winning the day was Nigel Jackson weighing in his first 100 pound plus weight in competition with 130-10-0 all caught on pole and his favourite bait, paste, from popular peg 19, fishing short. Second was Keith Huggins on peg 31 also fishing pole with various baits throughout the day finishing just a few Carp behind Nigel. He unfortunately lost a few to hook pulls and foul hookers but still managed to weigh in 117-15-0. A distant third was Norman Cragg on another popular peg 43 who fished the method feeder and wafters for most of the match to take just under 70-0-0 to the scales.
