Match Overview

Twelve anglers spent Father’s Day on a warm showery day at More House farm. Ian Thompson had an easy victory with 98-9-0 from popular peg 19 catching on the pole with pellets and wafters early on, then switching to method feeder when bites dried up and finishing down the margins with paste for the last hour. The competition for second place was close with Hugh Neatherway clinching the position landing two good Carp for just under 21-8-0 on meat across on peg 28 and another 40-11-0 of Carp and a few silvers for his 63-14-0. Just falling short in third was Keith Huggins who managed 61-2-0 from peg 20 catching on maggots, with the final whistle coming to soon as his margin switched on in the last forty five minutes.
