Match Overview
The match record at Decoy fell today with some impressive backup weights. The new record is now in excess of 100lbs with Colin Ryall landing 110-10-0 from peg 15 landing over twenty Carp using method feeder with red or yellow wafters he also caught down the right edge on pole with dead red maggots or worm. Runner up was Lew Nightingale who also beat the former match record weighing in 98-10-0 from peg 27, he also caught on the method feeder with wafters and finishing with the pole and paste down the margins. Third was Nigel Jackson with 61-15-10 from peg 7 fishing with pole and paste all day, Decoy has been fishing extremely well lately and the skimmer Bream that were stocked earlier in the year are definitely putting on weight and are showing regularly in the matches which hopefully will help with bites once the Carp slow down during the colder months.
