Match Overview

 Eight anglers took part in this year’s Rod and Line Cup, which also forms part of the Wiley Challenge series. The match was widely spaced at Hamsey along the two fields upstream of pipe bridge due to growth of streamer weed in the mid section. The blustery conditions made float presentation tricky.

Winner with a very impressive catch of waggler caught silvers was Colin Skeel with 9lb 14oz. In second place was Dave Franks with a decent catch of silvers and particularly perch to total 7lb 3oz; and in third place was Darren Chilcott fishing the upstream end peg 9 with 5lb 14oz.
