Match Overview

A tough and unseasonal summer’s day with all sorts of weather thrown in, starting with sunshine and then gale force wind gusts and heavy drizzle most of the afternoon. Most anglers caught but with such a strong wind, long pole was little used.

Winner Colin Ryall put together a 10lb plus bag of skimmers and small carp on the pole / feeder which together with a 30 lb plus bag of larger carp including a late hour run of margin carp on the pole to total 45lb 11oz. Runner up Kevin Tree had a very respectable 44lb net of feeder caught carp. David Harper was third with carp caught on method, waggler and short pole tactics to total 33lb 10oz.
