Match Overview

15 anglers took part in the second relocated match at More House Farm. Despite the periods of torrential rain and thunder rumbling nearby, the carp were definitely responding to the increased depth in water levels. Today produced some outstanding results with winner Keith Huggins with an excellent 117lb 8oz from the highly favoured peg 43. Runner up Kevin Tree had a very impressive 90lb 6oz from the north bank followed by Norman Cragg with a lovely bag of 85 lb.

Just in closing, a special mention to Stewart Morton who – faced with his rod being towed into the lake – valiantly took to the water and swam after it to recover the said item.
