Match Overview

The latest round of the O.A.P. summer league had eight anglers taking part at Badgers Wood. Norman Cragg drew peg 13 and fishing corn down the margin in the first hour he landed three Tench for a promising start. When the action slowed, he was given some spare worms, by Kevin Tree, as his were worse for wear. He put these to good use going on to land another Tench and two Bream and when added to his silvers he weighed in 15-5-0 and the win. Kevin Tree came second from peg 1 and might have regretted being so generous, he had a reasonable Tench and two Bream on the pole with worm for 15-5-0. He just edged out Les Hickman on peg 9 by five ounces who also had two Bream and a Tench plus had good number of silver fish for 12-1-0 all on the pole and maggots.
