Match Overview

The weather appears to have affected the turnout for the latest round of the Rose Bowl with only four braving the wind and the rain. Despite the conditions the fishing proved to be better than expected with less than a pound separating the top three anglers. Nigel Jackson led the way with 10-8-0 of mainly Roach from peg three fishing the four metre whip and alternating between single and double maggot. Second on end peg five was Colin Ryall with 9-12-0 having to fish with the waggler for most of the match as he was pestered by Swans diving down on his feed he also caught on maggots. Third just two ounces behind with 9-10-0 was Steve Pead who also fished the four metre whip with single maggot on peg two.
