Match Overview

 Only three turned out for the latest interclub match against Haywards Heath held on the Sloop, which turned out to be hard work. The match was a walk off with an option to move after one hour. Steve Pead drew number one and chose to fish the swim known as the washing machine and won the match with just 0-10-0 landing a 0-8-0 Trout after ten minutes which are permitted in this match backed up with another very small Trout and about 30 minnows all on single maggot and the pole. Rowland Smith and Hugh Neatherway tied for second with 0-2-0 both catching minnows on maggot, Hugh missed the net with a Trout estimated at 0-6-0 which when added to the minnows would have made him second on his own after moving up above the weir.
