Three anglers turned out for the rod and line cup. Dave Harper came out on top with 7-11-0 of Roach and small Chublets fishing with maggots, which gave him a narrow victory over runner up, Hugh Neatherway who fished with maggots and corn for 7-2-0. Third was Ted Odell with 1-3-0 fishing the feeder and maggots. Hugh Neatherway secured the Challenge Cup which counts all Sunday matches up to the end of September by 5 points pushing Steve Pead into second place.
