Match Overview

The final match of the summer series at Wildings was won by Stewart Morton thanks to an 11-5-0 Carp landed in the first hour on a duo wafter from peg 10. He added two skimmers weighing 3-6-0 also on wafters fishing the method feeder for a total of 14-11-0 and a comfortable win. Second on peg 14 was Hugh Neatherway, he also fished the method feeder but caught most of his skimmers on a pink 3mm wafter backed up with some small silver fish for 7-12-0. Nigel Jakson completed the top three with just under 5-0-0 fishing the pole and maggots to land a mixed bag of small silver fish. Nigel topped the series with 70 points with his best nine results counting, runner up was Keith Huggins with 62 points from the seven matches that he participated in. Third was Steve Pead on 60 points.
