Match Overview

The third leg of the Decoy Cup saw a lower turnout of late, but the weights were still reasonable despite the weather turning colder. The top weight on the day was Keith Huggins with 66-12-0 from peg 1 catching on a standard waggler and corn before switching to method and wafters and finally pole and paste in the right margin. Second was Mark Curtis on peg 7 who struggled for a bite on the method feeder, so he switched to the pole and started to catch out in the lake and then in the margins for a level 39-0-0. Third went to Cliff Prophet who persevered with the method feeder all day on peg 30 and picking up three late Carp on wafters for his 31-6-0 net.
