Match Overview

Five anglers took part in the last round of the O.A.P. summer series at Badgers Wood, and top on the day was Rob Harman who fished his first match this year in the O.A.P. series and showed everyone how it was done from peg 11 by fishing pole with corn to land three decent Bream for 9-3-0, he also hooked some thing which took off to the centre of the lake before coming off. Second was Stewart Morton on peg 10 who was nearly on the point of packing up at lunch time when he managed to pick up two nice Tench fishing pole and corn down the margin for 6-12-0. Third went to Dave Harper who returned to the senior matches after a recent illness and caught small silver fish from peg 5 on pole and maggots. Nigel Jackson ran out the winner of the summer series despite his absence with 84 points which were the best nine out of twelve results, tied for second was Kevin Tree and Stewart Morton on 67 points with Stewart coming out on top due to a higher combined weight.
