Match Overview

Seventeen anglers took part over both lakes at this year’s annual Christmas match with the Canal yet again producing the top weights. There was a close battle for top place and at the weigh in there was a tie between Rowland Smith and Les Hickman both with 34 0 0, Rowland found chopped worm and worm over the top to be the winning formula on the long pole. Les alternated between pole and feeder for his net. Third was Tim brightey just one carp behind on 32 0 0 also using pole and feeder with pellets.
