The second and final leg of the Dick Herrington saw 14 anglers taking part on a cloudy blustery day. Top on the day saw Steve Pead fishing for Hassocks weigh in just under 18-0-0 of mainly Roach and a bonus Eel of about 2-0-0 all on double maggot using the waggler and finishing the last two and a half hours on the whip. The next five places were taken by Haywards Heath anglers with Dave Franks finishing second with just under 15-0-0 fishing the whip and waggler with maggots for a similar net of Roach. Third was Darren Chilcott just over a pound behind Dave with 13-12-0 from the end peg on the dam wall. Haywards Heath won the day with their top five anglers counting by just under fifteen pounds, but Hassocks retained the trophy due to having a fifty pounds cushion from the first leg.
